Service Description

The Mysore-style class is the original way of teaching yoga within the Ashtanga Yoga tradition as created by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and taught by Saraswathi Jois in the city of Mysore, India. You come at your own time on a time window provided and practice at your own pace, all while being adjusted and corrected by the teacher in charge of the room. Students practice their portion of the Ashtanga Yoga sequence of asanas at their own pace. Other students may or may not be in the room as well and each one is doing their practice depending on ability, time practicing, injuries, body types, etc. The teacher assists then each student individually by giving physical adjustments & verbal instruction. Asanas are given, one by one in sequential order according to their ability. You can ask questions, and repeat poses. It's like a private class/workshop. The morning window of practice is between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., and we stop accepting new logins at 7:00 a.m. Same for the afternoon/night shift. The night shift window of practice is between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., and we stop accepting new logins by 7:00 p.m. We accept all levels of practice from zero up to Full Primary and Intermediate series.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel a reservation up to 2h before starting time. If cancellation is not done before that time the class will be deducted from your class package. Be mindful that the spaces are limited and you should only book a class with the clear intention of attending. Likewise the latest you can make a reservation is 2h before starting time.
